FUN FACT : EdgeCube is currently in space!

During my fourth year of college, I had an opportunity to work as Student Project Manger, for the for the NASA Satellite Project called, EdgeCube, it s a 1U CubeSat technology demonstration mission by the Sonoma State University as a Global Monitor for Earth's Ecosystems. I helped start the initial coding for pinning the location of the satellite when in space, communication between engineering team and advisors, designed the EdgeCube website, and project scheduling.

Working as Student Project Manager for the NASA Satellite Project called "EdgeCube" was LIFE-CHANGING. Being around the Electrical Engineering students was mind-blowing. Their ingenuity sparked so many parts of my brain. I not only got to be a part of their EE friend team, but I also helped them with communication with the administration team.

EdgeCube's Mission

The EdgeCube is a 1U CubeSat technology demonstration mission by the Sonoma State University as a Global Monitor for Earth's Ecosystems

- See the planet's ecosystem change over time.

- Create a global measurement of the red edge that monitors a sharp change in leaf reflectance in the range 680 to 750 nm from changes in vegetation chlorophyll absorption and mesophyll scattering due to seasonal leaf phenology or stress.

- Train and educate future STEM  leaders.
